In 2013, my kids were little, and (unbeknownst to me) we were getting close to the end of family worship as it looked back then. I was developing the ability to ask good, age-appropriate questions, and found that I had a knack for finding or creating great crafts to keep the kids engaged. My wife and I had read a lot of kids Bible’s to our children and found The Jesus Storybook Bible to be exceptionally helpful.
So I took every chapter of that book and wrote up themes, discussion questions, and activities/crafts that we had done with our kids in the past. If you have children between the ages of 3-7, this will be a helpful resource to engage your children with Bible stories with Jesus at the center. It is meant to be used alongside Sally Lloyd-Jones Jesus StoryBook Bible, and the answer to every question comes directly from the story just read, making the application more concrete for little ones.
